Open enrollment and special enrollment
- ◆Open Enrollment for Marketplace coverage runs November 1 to January 15 in most states. Enroll by December 15 for coverage starting January 1.
- ◆Special Enrollment Periods open for 60 days after you lose other coverage, move, marry, have a child or have certain income changes.
- ◆Leaving a group plan? Losing employer coverage qualifies you for a Special Enrollment Period.
