That foundation carried through her time at the Social Security Administration and in private insurance sales, where her command of complex Medicare regulations and her commitment to educating clients earned her a reputation as a trusted advisor.

Joanna has held leadership roles at Nationcare Insurance Services and founded her own agency, Topflight Insurance Solutions, organizations that have thrived under her guidance. Her expertise has made her a sought-after speaker and mentor across the industry.

Beyond her professional achievements, Joanna is deeply committed to giving back, especially to veterans, a dedication to service that has solidified her place as a leading voice in Medicare and insurance.

Kevin Sword is Chief Operations Officer at Topflight Insurance Solutions. He joined through the Hiring Our Heroes program as an Executive Operations Fellow before stepping into his current role leading operations.

A retired Lieutenant Colonel with 27.5 years in the U.S. Air Force, Kevin brings deep expertise in strategic planning, technology acquisition, and large-scale operations management. He most recently led modernization efforts for the Combat Air Force's training infrastructure, and previously commanded the Air Force's sole tactics development squadron, producing tactics manuals for every U.S. weapons system and managing distribution to 42 partner nations.

Kevin started his career as an F-16 Avionics technician, giving him a ground-level understanding of technology and operations. He holds a Master of Economics and is a certified PMP, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and Change Management Practitioner, and is a graduate and former instructor at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School.
